RDes - Reticulation Information Designer

DesSoft’s RDes is an intelligent drawing tool that assists one in creating power reticulation diagrams. These diagrams have drawing objects that are linked to a database from where all technical information regarding the electrical component can be viewed.

RDes has a reporting tool to display all data information for all components defined in the project. Costing reports can be created as well as Bill of Material reports, etc. One can also export or import information from the database as required.

The main advantages that RDes offers are:

Ensure personnel safety with its RED-LINE capability where temporary deviations of power supply can be clearly marked, assisting adherence to safety regulations.
Quick find functionality that can highlight similar equipment with similar power ratings and sub components anywhere else on the diagram to be able to reduce power downtime.
Highlight all Source or Destination components to be able to see which areas would be affected when a certain item is faulty.
Open the datasheet or data property for the selected item to view all its technical details.

RDes is a design tool to quickly create the above diagrams and technical information. With RDes a viewer (RView) can also be obtained that can be installed in various MCC’s or desired locations so that the above diagrams and information can be viewed, red-lined to ensure personnel safety and to be able to have up to date drawings instead of the old hard copy that was stuck to the wall.
